Objectives:
- Acquire the fundamentals of BW that are required for working with
SEM.
- Develop application scenarios in BW-SEM
- Working with InfoCubes
- Extractions and retractions: BW-SEM SAP system
- Creating queries and their design options for modeling in SEM
- BW-SEM technical integration.
- Modeling basic structures of planning functions and Strategy Management,
if they are necessary for the integration analysis.
Content:
- Fundamentals of BW and their link with SEM
- Definition of the different types of InfoCubes
- Key figure model and account model in BW
- Implementing scenarios for filling InfoCubes and data retention
(current and planned).
- Extracting from SAP Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Excel upload
- Creating queries and their design options for use in SEM
- Data retraction into SAP CO-PA
- Linking the BW structures with Strategy Management and Performance
Measurement
- Developing a simple planning structure
- BW consolidation according to integration aspects
